I hope you receive this reply - I posted in 2004 regarding the Drew Family of Madison and I found your 2005 post today - two years later. So sorry about that. I just forgot to check the board and came across it today while working online. It would be great if you would like to get in touch via email - our email is wdrew812@hotmail.com
I have quite a few Drew family members in my genealogy and I'm sure my husband (the Drew) knew Mitchell C. Drew - he remembers him as Uncle Mitch and that he never married. Bill's father was James Luther Drew, grandfather was William Thomas Drew and great grandfather was James E. Drew. In total, James E. Drew was one of 10 children - their father being Farnel or Farnal or Farnell - even one spelling was Parnel - we have indication of his death in 1860 but haven't found any record of burial or his ancestors or siblings. If you will email it would be great to communicate........look forward to hearing from you. Wilma & Bill Drew
