The 1860 census of Madison has listed a Sady Kersey, as HOH, and the following apparently children in her house; James M., Edward J., Sarah J.A. and Nathaniel C. Kersey. Believe this Nathaniel C. (Cooper) married a Frances Hampton of Jefferson County about 1870/75. Further, believe this marriage produced the following off-springs; Will, Ike,Elizabeth (Lizzie) and perhaps others.
