This is a very long shot but would anyone have the surnames Gantt and Ivey in their families. I have seen in Huxfords unplublished works that my great Great grandmothers' sister married a Gantt.
All I know about the Ivey family is my GGGrandmother was EadyAn Ivey who married Owen Vining. She had a sister named Rhoda and apparently there was another sister who married the Gantt man then moved to N.C. but I don't know what her name was. This had to be in the mid 1800's.
Sound familier to anyone?
