The dates are from conflicting pages of his revolutionary pension. I think he was in Georgia by the 1800's. I put this family together by records in the Siler and Guion rolls. His first wife is unknown. May have been a Downs.
John was born in Guilford Co,NC c1765. Served in the Rev. War aft Aug 1780 under Col Peasly,Capt Wilson and Gen Davidson of NC. Was in the battle of Gilford Courhouse and following to Feb 1781. Could not read or write.Left N.C. c1784 and went to St Lawrence Dis of South Carolina. Lived there for eight years (1792) and then went to Georgia.Was in the following counties as laborer:
Columbia Co,Jackson Co,Morgan Co,Hall Co (1818),Decalb Co,CArroll (Campbell Co) and Cobb Co (Cass). His first wife died by 1818.

Mahaley b c1807 Ga married a Cox perhaps David.Found on Cherokee reservation in 1860c alone.
Anny b c1810 Ga married George Hughes div by 1850 in Indian territory. She is found in census on Cherokee reservation. Died after 1860. William tells about her in Siler rolls.
Eliza bc1817-1818 not sure of birth date so not sure if from first marriage or from Winnefred Tidwell.She married George Holoway by 1833.
John married Winnifred Tidwell 15 Aug 1818 in Hall Co,Ga. She has one son mixed blood John Tidwell father Young Deer. he was born 22 June 1815. They were seperated by 1818.
Jeffery Cordrey b 1818 was adopted by John and Winney from her sister.

There are two other sons I have only from Guion Rolls that are mentioned by son's of "Indian" John Tidwell these are
Thornton and Thomas Goddard.

Trying to find the families of John Jr and William and Thomas and Thornton. Also Cherity,Eliza and Anny. Anny is on the site of James Raymond Hicks. If anyone knows him I would like to make contact on this family.
Winnie died by 1865 and I would like to know where she is buried. She was not with Peter when his family was moved to Ohio.
