There is a WWI Draft registration for an Albert Allen with wife and 3 children; dob March 14, 1890 filed in Evans County Ga on June 5, 1917; employed by W H Brewton(?). He lists Bryan Cty as place of birth.
In 1920 is listed on the Tattnall County Census; dist 153; Manassas with 4 children. Then in 1930, Maud is living in Evans County and listed as widow with several children, one age 9. It would appear that Albert, if he fact did die, died 1921-1930. It's certainly not unusal not to find a dc from that time frame. You might have been luck searching at the county level, rather than the state level.
Did Albert have a nickname? What does the middle initial "A" stand for?
