Daniel Ricks, born abt. 1825, in Georgia?. He is listed on 1860 Early County, Georgia, District 28 Census, and his occupation was overseer, and listed with wife, Virginia - age 24, John Ric - age 6 and Daniel Hy - age 5.

He is not listed with his family on the 1870, Early County, District 28 census but it shows:

Ricks, Virginia - age 38, born in Georgia, John R. - age 17, Daniel H - age 16, Mary Lizzie - age 10, Samuel J - age 8, Jordan L - age 7, Rosie/Rescie V - age 5 and Martha D - age 3.

Virginia Ricks, was the 2nd wife to Daniel Ricks, and her maiden name was Virginia Harriet Smith or Harriet Virginia Smith, daughter of Samuel Smith and Mary ?.

In the 1880, Early Co, E.D. 96 Census, It shows Virginia living with parents as:

Smith, Samuuel - age 80 born in N.C., Mary - wife - age 76 born in Georgia, Virginia H - age 45 - daughter born in Georgia, Mary E - age 19 - granddaughter - born GA, Lee - age 15 - grandson, and Martha - age 13 - granddaughter.
