Hi Peggy
Sorry I guess it has been awhile since I checked this board.
Thanks so much for giving me the name Mary Angeline Scott....I only had Mary A and knew that she was born in SC. She was married to Wyatt L Chamblin II b April 9, 1841 d Mar 28, 1897.. I have that Mary Angeline was born Dec 1840 from the census and died sometime between 1910 & 1920.

Wyatt Chamblin II served in the Civil War with his brother Andy (my ancestor) and brother William. According to civil war records Wyatt lost a leg during the war. His brother William died in the war. Andy came home but he must have suffered from wounds as family lore has him 'sickly".

Wyatt II, Anderson "Andy" and William were the sons of Dr Wyatt L Chamblin and Prudence Evans. Dr Chamblin was a practicing physcian
in Columbia Co. He died relatively young and Prudence raised the children and never married.
