Classification: Cemetery
Surnames: ROZAR, WHITE, WARREN
Does anyone know if there has ever been a survey published of the Rozar Cemetery in Dodge County. My great-grandmother's mother died when she was very young, about 1892. We don't know a lot about her, only that she married Robert A WHITE and they had two children, my great-grandmother Mamie Clyde WHITE (1894-1957) and her brother Robert WHITE (1883-?). The father, Robert A WHITE, was born about 1860 according to the 1900 Dodge County Census (the only one of which I am certain). There was a marriage license issued to Robert A WHITE and Leona ROZAR in July 1880. My current working theory is that those were my great-great grandparents. Robert A WHITE remarried in 1894, marrying Valeria WARREN. We don't know what happened to her either. From what my mother remembers, her grandmother Mamie rarely spoke of her family, and she (my mother) only remembers meeting her great-uncle Robert (Mamie's brother) once. Until I found the marriage license record we thought Mamie's mother's name was Elizabeth ROZIER. I have so very little to go on that any information would be appreciated. Thank you.
