Looking for anyone else researching the HICKS and PERKINS surnames in Floyd Co. GA
Sarah HICKS (born abt. 1825, NC) married David PERKINS in Floyd Co. GA on August 22, 1840. They moved to Blount Co. TN sometime after their marriage and had three sons there before David died sometime between 1847-1850. Sarah HICKS-PERKINS then married Samuel T. PASS on February 13, 1851 in Blount Co. TN. They had two daughters before Samuel T. PASS died between 1858 - 1860.
Sarah HICKS-PERKINS-PASS died in Blount Co. TN in 1898.
There is a strong possibility that Sarah was the daughter of D. or I. HICKS shown in the 1840 Floyd Co. GA census below... If anyone has any further details on these families, please contact me. I have a few more details about some of these family lines...
