I am looking for information on John M. Latham, born March 1852 in Cherokee Co. Ga. married Elizabeth Unknown probably in Floyd Co. Elizabeth was born Dec. 1853. They married about 1871. Children are:
1. James H. Latham born Jan. 1879
2. Larkin R. Latham born Jan. 1881 died Sept. 6, 1939 according to Georgia Death Index
3. David M. born April 1883
4. Madison born Oct. 24, 1884, died Aug. 1963 (SSDI)
5. Lillie B. born Feb. 1887
6. Leonard V. born Aug. 1888
7. Loyd B. born Mrach 1890
8. Minnie born Dec. 1893
9. Joseph M. born May 1894 married Grace Langston July 23, 1916. Grace was born abt. 1902. SSDI says Joseph born May 20, 1894, died Aug. 13, 1977 in Rome, Floyd Co. Ga.
10. George M. Latham born March 10, 1896, died Feb. 24, 1963. SSDI Residence not listed. If you will notice the marriage date of 1871 or about that, she waited a long time to start having children. Then there may have been older ones that had left home by the 1900 census, where I got most of this infomation. If anyone can help with this family, I would deeply appreciate it. Thank you
