I've been searching for Benjamin F. Holcombe who was born in 1864 in SC. He left his family in SC and moved possibly to Ga and remarried. Family tradition says that all knew about this second family. My grandfather, Augustas McCoy ("Gus Coy") was the son of this Benjamin. Have you noted anyone in your research in Ga on the Holcombes with a Benjamin or Ben first name?
