Don, thanks for your offer. Thornton is not my direct line (or is it?) but were around my Crows in lower Hall and Whitfield Cos. GA. Specifically, Reubin, George, Thomas, and Isaac Thornton. Some of these men traded property with my Crows. Thomas, I believe, was a MG and preformed a marriage between my Crows. Isaac Thornton, I understand, made several trips from Tunnel Hill, Whitfield Co. GA, c.1870-1889's, to TX and remained in TX on his last trip I'm told. Since some of my Crows left the same areas and arrived in TX, I have to wonder if they migrated together?
Earlier settlers, c1700's, Thorntons, Wheelers, and my Fenn line, migrated together also. Some of the Thorntons, Wheelers, and Fenns left NE GA and went to Hill Co. TX together, c.1870.
