I believe this James Tatum is my ggggrandfather. He is buried at Crossroads Cemetery in Forsyth County. I just recently resumed my research and discovered that he remarried after 1870. If you have additional information, I would be most interested. I have not been able to establish who James Tatum's father was. I have a theory that he was the son of Nathaniel and the brother of Riley, Hugh, William, Winnie and Peggy. I believe they entered the county after 1830.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Deborah Tatum Storey

Lorene, My ggggrandfather was James Tatus with his first wife, Susan V. I would love to share information with you. I have a lot of info forward, but nothing back. Would also like info on Vicy Crow and their family, too. Let me know if we connect.

Vicy Bennett Crow was my great-grandmother. I have lost all trace of Vicy after she married James Tatum and would love to have any information you have on her.
