I am looking for information regarding the marriage of Mary Elizabeth
Brannon (b. 1857) to an unknown
Shaw in
Forsyth County. They may have had a daughter named
Augusta (b. 1871). Shaw apparently died by 1880, as the 1880 Census shows Mary E. Shaw, daughter & widow, living with her parents William R
Brannon and
Mahala F. Augusta is listed as grand-daughter to William R, and I believe she is the daughter of Mary, but any info for or against would be great.
