Tidwell lines. My Gr-Grandfather was Richard
Judson Tidwell b: 10 Jan 1881 d: 06 Mar 1959. Both his parents were TIDWELLS BORN IN
FORSYTH COUNTY.
Richard Judson's Father = James M. Tidwell b: 28 Jul 1858 d: 28 Oct 1926.
Richard Judson's Mother = Susan E. Tidwell b: 06 Mar 1855 d: 28 May 1926.
Richard
Judson & his siblings were born in
Bartow County and his parents died there.
James M. Tidwell has been difficult to run down. I believe I found his death certificate in "Georgia's Virtual
Vault" identifying his father as Marion
Tidwell and his mother as Ann
Gravitt. I've identified Delphia Eliza
Tidwell Abernathy and Atilda "Tilda" Ann
Tidwell Summey as having parents by the same name.
I have been unable to find out what James M. Tidwell's middle initial stands for.
Susan's father was Richard
Tidwell, possibly M.R. Tidwell, b: abt 1828 (17 Dec 1927) d: Jan 1905. I found J.M. & S.E. Tidwell taking care of M.R. Tidwell's Death/Funeral arrangements in the Virtual
Vault. Susan's mother was Jane
Munday or Mundey. I think I've got the
Munday family identified.
