Seeking information on Albert and Charity Pirkle Green of Forsyth Co. Albert and Charity are in the 1850,1860, and 1870 census. Albert birth state was listed as Ga, NC, and SC.in the census records? Charity was from NC. Need to clarify the birth state of Albert and identify his parents.

Seeking information on Lonie Kemp. Married George W. Green in 1883. George is the grandson of Albert Green.

I show Charity from Rockingham County, NC. They do not appear in the Forsyth Co. 1840 census but appear in the 1850 census on.George W. was the oldest son of Albert and Ambers(Ambrose) was a younger brother. George W. married and named a child Ambrose. This name (Ambrose) came from the Pirkle side of the family. The Ambrose married to Nancy was my g-g grandfather, son of Albert. He named his son George Washington Green b.1859 in Forsyth Co(g-grandfather). This is the Ambrose in the CSA.

I have some information on Albert. I show he was born in N.C. in 1805. I can not find a county in S.C. Charity born in 1807 in N.C. no county found.They moved to Forsyth County Ga. early 1830s, first son (George W.) born 1834 in GaA.). George W. is Ambrose Green father. The 1860 census shows Ambrose being 23, married to Nancy E. Green 18, with a 1 year old son(George W.) I have been researching Andrew Jackson Green,Ambrose brother, for a year or two. Have some information if you need it. good luck.

OK. Albert Green b. Apr. 28, 1804 married Charity Pirkle b. Apr. 27, 1807. They both were from Rockingham Co., NC. We found this confusing also. We found that there were two separate Green families living in Forsyth County during the same time period. We know our info is correct. Do not know about the other Green family.
