Meshach looks to me like the Biblical name--Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego and the firey furnace.

I don't know if I ever got back to you or not. I have an Elisa or Eliza or Liza and a Elizabeth or Bet Red. They were sisters and both were married to a William Campbell and both had children by him. And they both named their children similar names. Beulla and Beullar. I could be confused.

My great-great grandmother was Zipporah Redd, she too was a Cherokee Squaw. Would there by any chance be a relation here. I haven't been able to find any info on her except from the Milford side. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
