Researching the family of Devereaux Jarrett Chandler and Martha Harret (Harriet) Varner, married in Franklin County in 1847. They were in Alabama in 1860. Also the family of William Pinckney Williams and Jane Holbrook. They were living in separate households in 1850; it is believed they may have been divorced. Jane was in Alabama with her son, Oliver Newton Williams in 1860.
