I am seeking information on my GGgrandfather, George Carroll who was married to Ann Baker, daughter of ELias Baker. George and Ann (both born 1784) were in Franklin County,Ga, when my Ggrandfather, Peter Tarpley Carroll was born in 1816. According to the 1850 census of Chattooga County, Ga., all chillren of George and Ann were born in Franklin County from 1806-1823. My Carroll family was linked to Baker,WOOD,HOLBROOK and I have info on these lines.Are there any known Carrolls in that area who have any info?
