My ggggrandparents were Joseph and Celia Brimer who came from Pendleton District, South Carolina to what is now Hall Co. in 1808. According to Revolutionary War depositions
given by Celia in 1851 in Hall Co., Joseph died in September 1823 and is buried at Candler Creek (Chandlers Creek in the deposition). She later gave an 1853 deposition at age 93 so we assume she died before 1860.

The problem is we cannot find any resources for Brimer or spelling variations in your area for 1810, 1820 census. We've located his sons in Gwinnett Co. in 1830 census and have the land grants in 1827 & 1832, but not a record of Joseph or Celia or any Brimer's in your area from 1808 till the sons appear in 1827.

Any help would be appreciated.
