I am searching for any info on the Hulsey family from Hall Co. Georgia, particularly a Florie Bell Hulsey, father Hiram Mitchell Hulsey born 1831 in Hall county. Hiram was the son of Micajah Hulsey. Micajah Hulsey was the son of Adonijah Hulsey. There is supposed to be native americans in this family. I could use any help at all. Thanks!

My grandfather always told me we were part Creek indian, but he said the family kept it quiet by claming to be Black Dutch. I have since found evidence to the fact that Black Dutch was a term used in the 1800's to denote mixing of the races, not an actual location. I like you have no way of proving our indian heritage, but my grandfather was an honest, hard working farmer and I believe him.
It looks like our family tree to a split for you and me at Jesse Hulsey as we followed on with Alfred Joseph in Ala.

My ggg grandfather was Jesse Hulsey, cousin to Adonijah. He lived in both Ala. and Ga. Hall County and my grandfathers daughter, Helen Price Hulsey, married my father Harbert Basil Payne in 1932, Creek Co. Oklahoma

I doubt this helps you, but here's the only information the Hulsey records I've seen have of and Ann Hulsey, born to William Hulsey and Jeanette Cooper. According my research, she was born about 1825 in Hall County, GA, and married Phillip Cantrell (b. 1820 Hall County, GA) on 11 Oct 1846 in Hall County

Could you send me any information on this? Native American. Also any information on Harriett Lala or Lolo Hulsey who married Willis Haywood. This would be in the Alabama area. Thanks

I am the Granddaughter of Barbara Agnes Husley. The Husley infomation listed on this site is not totally correct. My grandmother is Barbara Agnes Husley and her parents are: John or Johann Husley (or Hosli) and Alethea Agnes Krohn and they are the parents of the follow: Baltz "Boss" Husley, Louis Husley, Lena Husley, Henry Husley, Barbara Agnes Husley(my grandmother), Fred Husley, Homer Husley, Vance Husley, William 'Will' Husley, Glen Husley (a female), Ted Husley and Annie Husley (who died young) This was from my mother's notes and maybe of interest to you. The person that posted this information on this site is my cousin, but she is not correct in stating that her Grandfather's Baltz Husley's mother is Barbara Husley, her grandfather's mother's name is: Alethea Agnes Krohn Husley in fact.
I knew most of these Great Aunts and Uncles personally and my mother listed (the Annie here as dying young).

I am looking for any information on John (Johann) Balthasar Husley if you have any. He is my Great Grandfather and came over on a ship. He was born in 1858 and came to the United States either as a sailor on a ship or immigrated. He had and the only information I have was some siblings and their names were Catherine, Henry, Joseph and another sibling named Annie! This Annie married Ed "Dink" Lamey and they lived in the Biloxi, Mississippi Area.
