I am desperately seeking info on the following Lewis families of Hall Co., GA in the Flowery Branch, Gainesville, and Gillsville areas. Information that I am seeking is -- who is Alfred/Alford's father?? I have heard that it was Jacob but have no proof, and where is Alfred/Alford buried in Gillsville, GA? The following are the names of my family line:
1. Alfred/Alford Lewis m2 Clarece Brewer he died in 1897 Gillsville, she is buried at New Bethany Baptist Church, Buford, GA. Their children were: Joseph; John; Steve; Lula; William; Daniel Wallace; Truston; Thomas; and Henry.
2. Daniel Wallace Lewis m. Mary Annie I. Hudgins, he was born 9/24/1854 and died 9/22/1923 and is buried at New Bethany Baptist Church in Buford, GA. She was born in Hall Co., on 5/4/1859 and died 9/17/1940 and is buried at Hopewell Baptist Church in Candler, GA. Their children are: Walter Newton; William Cleveland; Leah Belle; Claudious Monroe; George Augusta; Carlton Lester; Benjamin Franklin; Mary Caroline; and Daniel Eston.

My grandfather and grandmother were Benjamin Franklin Lewis and Hula Alene Lord of the Hall Co., are also.

Any information on the elusive Alfred/Alford and his father Jacob(???) would be greatly appreciated.
