My grandfather was Namen Paris McDougle, his father was James McDougle, who was a Confederate soldier. Namen McDougle, 1st wife was Lizzie Hall who died when her first child was born. Namen's 2nd wife was Nora Seigler (my grandmother). My grandfather helped found Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in Franklin Co., AL. He wanted to name that church after Mt. Hebron Baptist in Hart County, GA where he and my grandmother attended church. Nora's mother was Sarah (Sallie) Jane Stacks, 1st husband, Obadiah Seiger, 2nd husband, James Hicks.
