Native Americans (Heard Co, GA & Tishomingo Co, MS) 1800's

Would like to find out what Native American tribes were in these areas during the 1800's. My descendants MAXWELL/TIPTON are listed as NA but no tribe. This info I recd down through the family line & from census but the tribe affiliation is not listed. The line goes back from to past as follows:
Nora Maxwell b. 1900, James Henry Maxwell b.1859 & Betty "Dovey" Tipton b.1882, JHM=William Columbus Maxwell b.c.1841 & Sarah E. Tackett b.c1841, BDM=John Henry Tipton b. 1833 & Elizabeth C. Harris b.1837, WCM= unk, SET=Wm Tackett b.c.1797 & Charlotte Alsabrook b.1808, and WT=unk, CA=Asa Alsabrook & Mahula Sanders. If these names look familiar, I'd love to hear from you....smiley!
