I have only back to James THomas b.1800 NC.
1850 Philips Co, AR
Thomas, James 50 Farmer NC
Elizabeth 45, KY
Creed 20 Farmer, TN (my line)
Green, 18 Farmer, TN
Nathaniel, 12, TN
Tabitha 9, F, TN
By? McKeham, 18,M, TN
Does this fit in anywhere with your relatives? I haven't checked Rutherford Co, NC. But I guess they would be in the 1810 & 1820 census. I will keep your info & if I found anything I'll let you know. I have been told that my Creed Alexander Thomas b. 1830 had a step-father named Hemingway.
Apparently James died after 1850. I wished I had more info on this line to share.
