My father was Lee David Dillard born in Fryburg, LA. He married Nora Mae Nelson from Castor. I think his father (my grandfather) Lee Dillard, who lived in Fryburg, LA was the son of Henry Dillard of Webster Parish and brother to Sanders Dillard. My father was Lee's youngest son. Lee was married to Missouri Estella Jane Kinard who died when my father was two. Lee died when my father was eight. There were six kids in my father's family. Preston, who died overseas during World War I, William Henry (Bill), Maud, Mattie, Ida Mae and my father, Lee David. When Lee died, the younger children, my father among them, went to live with their uncle, Lemuel D. Kinard and his wife Blanche, nee Roach in Ringgold, LA. My father and all of his brothers and sisters are now deceased. I'd love some information further back down the line. I think the family came to Louisiana from Alabama, but originally from Georgia and South Carolina.
