Oh yes, I believe we have a connection. I have been trying to figure this out for quite some time. I would have never thought I would make a connection on the Jasper Co page. Lucy married (1) Andrew JACKSON on 24 May 1848 in Robeson Co, NC. Andrew was born in NC or VA.
They had the following children:

Duncan married Mary HUGHES, daughter of Duncan HUGHES Jr and Sarah WIGGINS, on 9 Dec 1877 in Montgomery Co, Ga. Mary was born 9 Feb 1856 in NC. She died 30 Jun 1933.

Malcomb married Lucinda Matilda Blanche WILSON, daughter of George Washington WILSON and Narcy Ann Jane JARRIEL, on 24 Aug 1911 in Tattnall Co, Ga. Lucinda was born 11 Feb 1895 in Collins, Tattnall Co, Ga. She died 26 Jul 1982 in Wauchula, Hardee Co, FL.

Franklin married Bessie "Aunt Bess" REID. Bessie was born 20 Aug 1906. She died 23 Feb 1998.

1. Lucy An(n) WILKES
CENSUS: 1900 Montgomery Co Ga Census lists Lucy Wilkes as the mother of Duncan Archie Jackson. At this point, I assume that she remarried a Wilkes after the death of Duncan Archie Jackson's father. She is listed as a widow.
BURIAL: Documentation: Buried at North Thompson Cemetery, Vidalia, Ga; Cemeteries of Toombs County Georgia, Compiled by Moses M Coleman, Jr, Coleman Ferrotype, Vidalia, Ga, 1994
BIRTH: 1900 Montgomery Co Ga census reads that Lucy was born in NC and was 65 years old and born Nov 1834. However, on her toombstone Lucy's age is given as 78 in the year 1909 (this would make he birth year 1831).
COMMENTS: 1900 Montgomery Co Census says that Lucy had a total of three children and at that all three were living on 01 Jan 1900.
BIRTH: Lucy's birthplace is recorded on the death certificate of her son, Duncan Archie Jackson.
COMMENTS/OTHER: Maiden name Wilkes is documented on the death certificate of her son, Duncan Archie Jackson.
