Riffe). Note: Marriages were filed in the office of the clerk of
Hustings Court until 1854.
In the 1860 Census of Henrico County, VA, James E. Mayo (age 32/born
in VA), Sarah A. Mayo (age 37/born in VA) and W.F. Mayo (age 2/born in
VA) were residents of that county.
From this, James was born ca 1828, Sarah was born ca 1823 and W.F. was
born ca 1858.
In the 1870 Census of Panola County, TX, S. L. (Smith L.) Fite (age
39/born in TN), Sarah Fite (age 36/born in VA) and William Mayo (age
12/born in VA) were residents.
