i have the book the history of lee county and it mainly focus on the white families in the area at that time, but it also mention some plantations by name and owner and also listed in the back of the book are cemetery listings and marriage listings which may be helpful. you may want to also look at terrell county for your family. it seems as if some people left lee county and went to terrell county
