His sister Margaret Savannah Hughey Carnes is my great great grandmother. Since your original post is 12 years old I would like to know if you have learned anything about the family.
I believe Margaret died between 1880 and 1888. I would love to find someone that has a photo of her. She married King Solomon Carnes in murray county, Georgia in 1874 then had my great grandfather, James Walter Carnes in 1879.
