Info on Reuben or John Tye? - early 1800's Quitman/Randolph Co

Classification: Query
Surnames: Tye, Cooper
My GGG-Grandfather was Reuben Tye, born in South Carolina. His father was John Tye, from Virginia.

I would like any information on either of these two men if anyone has any. What I do have is very limited on Reuben, and almost non-existant on John.

John is listed in an 1838 Deed transaction:
JOHN TYE of Randolph Co. to CALVIN TEELE of Randolph Co. Lot #11, 8th Dist. (101 1/4 acres). Wit.: A. Howard, G.W. Harrison, J.I.C. July 3, 1838/Aug. 1, 1838.

I know thru family history that Reuben and his family lived on lower Lumpkin Road, and later on the Cuthbert-Eufala Highway.

According to Reuben's son Leonidas Tye "Father moved in the year 1859 from my birth place to what was known as the England place near the Cuthbert - Eufalah Highway."

The only information I have on Reuben and his wife Sarah Cooper's burial is that they are buried in unmarked graves in the Guilford family cemetery (Quitman Co) somewhere on the Lower Lumpkin Road. I have sofar been unable to figure out exactly where this cemetery is.

Any information would helpful!
Thanks,
Alex Tye
