In Pioneering With the Beville and Related Families by Asselia Lichlieter, there are several references to Green and Mary Pearce but not much detail ... especially the information for which you are looking.
On p 349 there is a section on the Beville-Pearce connection. "Stephen Pearce was a son of Joshua Pearce, whose will, dated Sept 10,1807, appears a little later in this book. The death of Joshua Pearce Sr on April 17, 1810, at age 80 at his seat in Screven County was reported in the Savannah Republican on April 14, 1810."
There is an interesting story about the Pearces that you might enjoy:
"After Joshua Pearce and his family settled on the land they had obtained in 1768 in the then St Matthews Parish, GA, laer Screven Co, he established an inn. There was great mobility among the population then ... and there was a need for overnight accomodations." ... "The Pearce's Inn became noted for the good food to be found there. This was due to the careful instruction and supervision given the cooks by Joshua's wife Hannah who ofen did the cooking herself. Joshua becae kown as a cordial and entertaining host.
These two factors evidently became know to the aide to George Washington who chose Pearce's Inn for dinner, an overnight stop and breakfast the next morning. The Diaries of George Washington show that he did, indeed, stop at this inn for meals and a night's stay on May 16, 1791."
"The inn was operated successively by Joshua, then his son Stephen, followed by Stephen Calfrey Pearce. Mary, a daughter of Stephen Pearce, married Paul Beville Jr, as has been stated, and Rebecca, the daughter of Granville Beville by his first wife, Sarah Scruggs, married Stephen Calfrey Pearce." (on July 22, 1828). There is no record of their children.
"This early settler to Screven County GA had accumulted a great deal of real and personal property which he took care to divide very equitably among his heirs."
"Between te time when Stephen Pearce wrote his will and the date it went into probate, his then widow, Mrs. Mary Pearce died at her residence in Screven Co on Oct 27, 1828, at the age of 62 years and 9 months (Daily Gerogian Nov 5, 1828)."
