Joe: Sally (Sarah Elizabeth) Anderson was my GGGGrandmother on my father's father's side, and Lewis was the Anderson on my father's mothers side of the farmily. There were 10 children in Sally's family--Vincent, Rebecca, Brice, Argent, Amos, Mary (Polly), Sally, John III, Charles, and Bethany.

The line for Sally goes:
Father was John Jr. (not Thomas) born about 1759 in Duplin Co NC;
John Sr., born betwen 1730-1740 in VA;
James, born about 1691 IN va;
Robert Jr. born about 1663 in New Kent Co VA;
Robert Sr. born about 1640 in New Kent Co VA;
Richard Jr., born in England--died in VA;
Richard Sr. born in London Jan 1584.

Sally's sister (Mary "Polly" Anderson) married Aaron Daniel (Daniel's on my grandmother Rachael Elizabeth (Betty) Knight's side). and another sister (Rebecca Anderson) married Abner W. Sweat about 1814 in Tattnall Co. He was born 1776 in Cheraw District SC and died in Columbia Co FL.

I know this might be confusing to you--I've tried to straighten the Anderson's out for a long time, and the going is SLOW.
