Danville, Va. in 1833.Original acreage about 1000 acres, some 570 still owned
by the family. John R. Anderson born ____7, 1807, died Nov. 18, 1886 , wife
Mary S. (Carter) Anderson, born May 8,1816, died June 18,1888, are buried in
the Anderson Family Cemetery near the house that he built about 1840.
This Anderson plantation was the home of John O. Anderson (1884-1954) ,
wife Marie Averitt ______ (1893-1955) and is still owned by their family.
