I wonder if anyone on this list can help me. I have ancestors in White County in the mid 1800s and want to find out if they had deeds there. I have tried looking for books with abstracts of deeds for the County, and
found none. I also contacted the GA Archives and the White County Clerk, but the Archives does not appear to have records relating to White County and the White Cty Clerk said I would have to come into the office to search. I live in Brooklyn, NY so this is not possible. I also tried the White County GenWeb site but no help. Does anybody know
if there is a compilation of abstracts or an index containing dates and names of parties to deeds in the County?
