This is the obituary of Ernest Matthew O'Neal son of Thomas Lester O'Neal reads as the following:
Ernest O'Neal
Ernest O'Neal, 50, of 413 Lincoln Ave. passed away Sept. 9 in DeKalb Hospital after a years illness.
He was a mechanic, a member of Masonic Lodge 137, Ft. Payne.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Mary Lee Scott O'Neal, one son Ernest Eugene O'Neal of Ft. Payne, seven grandchildren; mother Mrs. Jessie O'Neal, Valley Head; rwo brothers Harvey O'Neal of Valley Head and Howard O'Neal of Lenoir City, Tenn.; three sisters Mrs. Maude Denton of Los Angeles, Ca.; Mrs. Mildred Hartline of Miami, Fla.; Mrs. Lois Palmer of Amite, La.
Funeral services were held Sept. 11 at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. T. D. Burgess and Benny Parker officiating.
Interment in Glenwood cemetery, Wilson Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Ernest Nichols, Milford jones, Pete Leath, Jack Hixson, Kelly Smith and Willard Hope.
