Maye S. Clayton

Maye S. Clayton died Sunday in a nursing home. She was 89. A native of Trenton, Ga., she had worked for Davenport Silk Mill and Davenport Hosiery Mill for many years.
She was the daughter of the late George F. And Bessie J. O'Neal Smith and a member of the Central Church of Christ.
Survivors include her brother Gordon W. Smith several neices and nephews.
Services will be Wednesay at 1 p.m. at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, East with Minister Houston Bynum officiating.
Burial will be in Payne Cemetery.
The family will receive freinds Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Church of Christ 400 Vine Street, Chattanooga, Tn. 37404.
