My research does not prove that Samuel Morgan is the father of my JOHN Morgan b. 1780 in New Jersey. The book that I have shows JOHN's sons are: William, Richard, James J., Samuel J., and John Bush. JOHN's daughters are Lucinda (mar. Cannon); Nancy (mar. Vickery); Emma (mar. Adams); Lodoisky (mar. 1. Boss, 2. Catlett); Deidamy (mar. Jackson).
Each child lists "born in Georgia". Some listed on 1850and/or later Census in Walker Co. Have checked the 4 Samuel Morgans from New Jersey listed as serving in the Revolution. Have Bible record listing birthdates of these children.
