BRIGHAM CITY – Earl LaMar Windley, 79, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012 with his family by his side.
LaMar was born on December 2, 1932 in St Charles, ID a son of Arthur L. and Alfreda Pugmire Windley.
He married his sweetheart Elaine Bolton on February 10, 1953 just before going to Korea. They were sealed in the Ogden Temple June 16, 1984.
LaMar served his country in the Korean conflict from 1953 to 1955.
He worked for Thiokol as a Supervisor of construction services for 31 years.
Surviving are his wife Elaine Windley, children: David Windley, Allen (Karen) Windley, Brian (Jen) Windley; grandchildren: Michelle (Shane) Hinck, Lindsey Jo (Ryan) Houts, Michael Windley, Jason (Audrey) Windley, Tyler Windley, Bode Windley; great-grandchildren: Taylor Stewart, Bailey, Brenna, Marlee Hinck, Reagan and Landon Houts, Brooklyn and Christopher Windley. He was preceded in death by parents and brothers Laurel, Cecil, Arden, and Norman.
Funeral services Monday, September 17, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City.
Friends may call Sunday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday 11:00 to 11:40 a.m. at the Mortuary.
Interment in the Brigham City Cemetery.
