C. Booth Wallentine of Salt Lake City, Utah, was freed from his earthly bonds at the age of 74, on October 24, 2012. He was born in Paris, Idaho on November 22, 1937.
Raised a cattle rancher, Booth is well-known in the agricultural industry and served as the Vice-President of the Utah Farm Bureau for more than 30 years. He was also active in international agricultural trade, traveling the world on behalf of farmers and ranchers. Booth graduated from Utah State University in 1964 after marrying Raeda McCammon, his soulmate for 55 years. They were married in the Logan, Utah temple on June 25, 1957.
Booth served a wide variety of LDS Church positions and served a mission with his wife to the Rochester, NY Mission.
He is survived by his wife, three children, nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. A viewing will be held at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary 1007 West South Jordan Parkway, (10600 South), South Jordan, Utah on Sunday, November 28 from 6 to 8 pm.
