Thomas Eldon Webb, 89, died Sunday Dec. 2, 2012, peacefully at the home of his youngest son, Steven Webb.He was born Feb. 19, 1923 in Laketown. He is the son of Albert Leslie Webb and Elsie Elvira Early.
He was preceded in death by his wife, LaWana on Dec. 19, 2010. He had four brothers and two sisters and is survived by his brother, Delford Webb(LaRene).
He spent his youth in Laketown and created many fond memories which he joyfully shared with his children and grandchildren.
He was drafted in the Army in 1942. He participated in the Battle of the Bulge and spent 101 days on the front lines without a break. He loved his country, was proud of his service and died an enthusiastic democrat.
Eldon married LaWana Mattson on Dec. 4, 1945 in Logan. They were later sealed in the Logan Temple on April 27, 1960. They settled in Paris and lived their entire lives there.
He loved Bear Lake, traveling, long drives, funny jokes, a good steak and being with his grandchildren. He was a good man.
He is survived by three sons, Monte (Kathy), Paul (Kathy) and Steven (Denise); 13 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren of whom he was extremely proud.
Funeral services will be held Dec. 5 at noon in the Paris Idaho Stake Center. A viewing will held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
