Ogden – Ruby Webb passed away on February 6, 2013 in Ogden. She was born January 5, 1922 in Raymond, Idaho to Clarence Eugene and Eleanor Jane Mumford Saxton. She graduated from Cokeville High School. Ruby married Albert E. Webb on June 16, 1942; they were married for 54 years before his death in 1995.
Ruby was a member of the LDS Church and worked with the MIA girls, served as a ward mission leader and as a Relief Society Visiting Teacher. She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and her family.
She is survived by her children, Eugene L. (Louise), Linda Meyerhoffer, Albert Allen (Susan), Elwyn S. (Mary), Gale S. (Cindy) and step-daughter, Velma Cleo Webb Day; 21 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Russell Saxton and James Saxton (MaryLou). She was preceded in death by her husband; a sister, Donna Eschler and a brother, Sherwood Saxton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Garden City Cemetery, Utah.
