Louise Toomer Robinson passed away at Care Source Hospice Center on April 13, 2013 at the age of 84 of natural causes.
Louise was born in Montpelier, Idaho on July 31, 1928 to Orson Dewey and Alice Angeline Hinckley Toomer.
Louise is preceded in death by her mother and father; her brother, Scott Hinckley Toomer and her sister Mariane Toomer Tuttle.
Louise is lovingly remembered by her daughter Cheree (Cherylee) Robinson; Salt Lake City, and other family and friends.
Louise married Frank Roe Robinson on May 31, 1953 in Carmel, California. They were married until his death in 1998.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Louise graduated from South High School in 1946 and started her career in health insurance administration in San Francisco in the same year. She enjoyed her job with the Teamsters' Union Health Benefits program until she moved back to Salt Lake City in 1960. Later, she resumed her career in health insurance in Salt Lake City in 1977 until she retired in 1993.
Louise enjoyed camping, traveling through wilderness areas and exploring ghost towns throughout the West. She enjoyed watching Jeopardy and answering the questions before the contestants most of the time. Her sassy sense of wit was enjoyed by those who knew her.
Graveside services will be held at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City on Wednesday April 17, 2013 At 11:00 a.m.
