AuDree Mattson Poulsen, 90, of Boise, passed away on Monday, 30th of September at her home. AuDree was born July 31, 1923 in St. Charles, Idaho to Chauncey and Myrtle Mattson, the oldest child of seven. AuDree married Dutch Poulsen on October 5th, 1946. AuDree and Dutch had two children, Nancy Christine and Charles Richard. They were married for 52 years.
AuDree was preceded in death by Dutch and Nancy. She is survived by Charles; her grandchildren, Greg Lowder, Ryan Lowder, and Lisa Salie; her great grandchild, Madison; her brothers, Logan, Robert (Bob), Paul, Grant, and Glenn Mattson; and her sister, Theda Weston.
AuDree started working at a very young age. Her first job was for the Novelty Theater in St. Charles. AuDree worked for the airbase in Pocatello during WWII, finishing her career with Board of Corrections in Boise. AuDree loved her children and family above all else. AuDree was an incredible cook and a wonderful conversationalist who loved working in the garden. She will truly be missed by all.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the LDS chapel located at 3555 S. Cole Road. The family will greet friends from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment will follow at Morris Hill Cemetery.
