Marlana Gail (Stettler) Shepard, 67 left her earthly home at 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, 2013 to be with her Heavenly Father and her family behind the veil. She passed away peacefully at her home. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald H. Shepard and younger brother, Wade.
She leaves behind her eternal companion Paul E. Stettler, a loving mother, Marge Peck, a younger sister, Vela Rose Matson (Royce) and three brothers, Gerald O. Shepard (Jenny), Reg (Donna) and Randy (Char) and many nieces and nephews.
Marlana was born in Tacoma, Wash. and grew up there. She attended Green River College in Washington, studing art, sculpture and later taught ceramic classes to the disabled. She served a stake mission in Puyallup, Wash. and became involved with Temple work and geneology, which was her greatest love. She also helped put on may church roadshows.
After her marriage she moved to Logan where she attended the University of Utah and became a computer expert. Later she moved to Montpelier, where she did temple work and helped others to bring their families thru the vail. She did tousands of names for her own family. Marlana had a very caring spirit, for everone.
Grave side Services only, will be Saturday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. at the Montpelier Cemetary.
