Donna, thank you very much for this info! The 1850 census'
is what I have been trying to get access to since its the first to list all names in household. How did you get access, if you don't mind sharing? The Illinois Brown family is a very good possibility with someone making a mistake in reporting where Garmon was born, PA instead of OH since the next child was born OH. The first definite place I have Garmon is 1870 MO census newly married to Sarah with a servent and no kids, then following census showing all the kids and so on. The Garmon being a maiden name of a mother did cross my mind since I ran across it on someone else' chart. Anyway, thank You very much and if you have any surnames you need info on my G-Grandfather kept journals from about 1900's until about 1940-50's. He had a homestead at Little Wd Resivoir before it was built then other properties around Carey. Its mostly info about his farm but somtimes he'll through in some good stuff about people.
