Just found Frank in the 1940 census--in Sandpoint, Bonner Co., ID. He is listed as follows:

Francis E. Davis, age 28, b. Canada, in 1935 he lived in East Liverpool OH, is working as a laborer for WPA road construction

Also with him are:

Ardith P. Davis, wife, age 24, b. NE, living in the same place in 1935
Pearl V., age 7, b. ID, living in the same place in 1935
James F., age 5, b. IS, living in the same place in 1935
[These children, I firmly believe, are Ardith's from another marriage, although they are listed as Davises]
Walter A., age 3, b. ID
Donna L., age 2, b. ID
Beulah M., age 3/12. b. ID

This gives me more info. However, I have been unable to find anything on Ardith or the 3 youngest children. I did e-mail someone re getting a copy of the marriage info for Frank and Ardith, so am hoping that comes through.
