I doubt there will be any Law Enforcment records for this accident. They don't keep them from that long ago. But accidents made front page during the 1920's so I will look up that newspaper for you. It looks like he died in Laclede, Idaho which is 1/2 between Priest River and Sandpoint (the county seat). The Idaho Death Index shows #031113 Birth date 7/13/1892 and death date 8/2/1920. The 1920 Federal Census shows Jesse E Haines age 27 born in OK as renting a home on the Priest Lake Road and a timber worker in a mill. He is listed as being able to read and write. He is listed with his wife, Joe O, age 27; son, Joe O age 6; daughter Hazel B age 5 and daughter Mildred age 3. I should have a copy of the obit and if it was a logging or mill accident the news article on Saturday.
