Lynn Joseph Lewis
May 22, 1963 – September 2, 2013
Lynn was born on May 22, 1963 to Nanette (Evans) and Lavell Lewis in Soda Springs, Idaho. He graduated from Soda Springs High School in 1982. Lynn furthered his education at Idaho State University in the Auto Body Program. He worked at Harry’s Auto Body from October 18, 1993 until his passing.
Lynn married Anna Moravec Stricklin on June 7, 2003, gaining two step children, Karina and Darold Stricklin. In 2011 Lynn also gained a grandchild, Seth Darius Stricklin who became his pride and joy. Lynn would spend an entire hour pushing Seth back and forth on his walk and ride toy.
Lynn enjoyed watching movies. He collected over 1500 DVD’s. He also enjoyed reading about Thirteenth and Fourteenth Century history. His passion was working with metal, sculpturing it into beautiful swords, amour and shields. He sculptured over two dozen swords, some of which has seen battle in medieval live steal fights. He enjoyed suiting up in amour and beating on his opponent.
Lynn was a loving and compassionate person. He had a big heart and a playful personality. He will be greatly missed.
Lynn was preceeded in death by his grandparents; and his mother, Nanette McCoy. He is survived by his wife, Anna; two step children, Karina and Darold Stricklin; grandson, Seth Stricklin; dad, Lavell Lewis; step mother, Alice (Dottie) Lewis; sister, Sueann Turner; step sister, Angie Brower; and two step brothers, Joe and Jim Roholt. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces and nephews.
