Clarence Bassett Hansen passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013. Clarence was born August 6, 1920 in Lago, ID to Alfred P. and Adelia Hansen. He was the second son, so received the nickname Bud, by which he has been known all his life.
Bud grew up in the farming community and graduated from Thatcher High School in 1939. He went to California to work until World War II was declared. He then joined the Navy and served from 1942 to 1945 in the Pacific Theater.
Bud was one of five children, Dallas, Dorothy, Phil and Stan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dallas, Dorothy and Phil. In 1951 he married Mary Ann HIldreth. They have five children, Cindy, Donald Pete, Casey, Jerry and Bill. He spent many years as a carpenter, loving the building trade.
Bud leaves his wife, five children, 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss him
Funeral arrangments were handled by Legacy Funeral Home, 1734 North Arizona Ave., Chandler, AZ.
